Judging a Book by Its Egg Donor Profile Pic...

Hello, all!  A lot to fill you in on...And at the same time, not much at all.  But here you go! First of all, I know this will break many hearts, but we have pretty much decided to not have twins.  Well, at least not on purpose that is. An initial idea of ours was to have twins, one of them mine and one of them Adan's.  But, if you think about it, our desire to make sure each baby had mixed ethnicity would've forced us to find two different egg donors and eggs.  (Does that make sense?  These "cocktail babies" are perplexing at times!)  Which, as you'll see, would've been complicated and costly.  So, sorry guys.  As of now the plan is to use my sperm in a Hispanic egg.  But we're still waiting on results of our lab reports...Who knows?  Maybe I will not be able to use my sperm and we'll have to use Adan's for whatever reason.  We shall see. "The One?"

Okay.  As you may know, this process is intricate and time-consuming.  Things, we've found, have sometimes taken days or even weeks to complete.  So that is one reason I haven't posted in a while.  But, enough of the excuses, lets get started with some of the things that are currently happening. The Surrogacy Center has matched us with a possible Gestational Carrier or Surrogate.  Her name is Elizabeth.  She is a 30-year-old mother to three children, married, and lives in Sheboygan.  And she looks beautiful.  And her story is very similar to ours in a lot of ways.  It's filled with struggles and adventure and love.  She is from Liberia, coming to the U.S. at 16 as a refugee.  Much of her family still lives in Africa...Possible future travels for me!  Haha!  She is now a naturalized citizen.  She is a stay-at-home mom and seems to enjoy being pregnant and being a mom.  We received a whole bunch of information ab...
